Ezekiel 36 vs 26-27

²⁶ A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

²⁷ And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

1. The holy spirit changes the heart of stone to a heart of flesh.
2. The holy spirit replaces an ungodly heart with a new heart.
3. The first thing that happens when you have an encounter with the Holy Spirit is that there will be a change in your heart.
4. God says when he puts his spirit in you, he causes you to work according to his laws and to keep his judgement.
5. In summary, the most important thing that happens when you become a Christian is that you will have a new heart that obeys the things of God.
