Say yes to God.
Good morning beautiful people,
I hope that this post meets you and your loved ones well? It’s been a minute but it’s good to get back to doing what I love…Encouraging others through my words.
Today’s post has been inspired by Luke 5:5.
Luke 5:5 ~ “Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”
^^^Simon agreed to following Christ’s instructions to let down the fishing nets again, even though he had already been hard at work and unsuccessful in catching any fish earlier.
Obeying God is a way in which we can build up resilience. Our character is strengthened because we learn to sincerely walk by faith and not by sight. We don’t use our senses or intellect to lead us, but rather we depend on God and allow His word to guide our souls.
Such a lifestyle is not easy to cultivate humanly speaking. But with the help and power of the Holy Spirit we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.
‘Say yes to obeying God even when it doesn’t make sense’.
Philippians 4:13 ~ “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
