How to Celebrate Christmas when life is hard

How to Celebrate Christmas When Life is Hard

This Christmas we are going to be talking about how to celebrate Christmas when life is hard. A lot of times around the holidays people can be quite discouraged and sometimes feel shame for feeling that way.

But there is a way that we can encounter Christ even in those places.

This week we are going to be talking about a Heartcry for Deliverance When Circumstances are Overwhelming and Hard.

Open up the gifts of strength, grace, and God’s presence with me this week as we face life’s hard places.

Sometimes God’s deliverance is not FROM pain, but THROUGH pain. What we wanted to avoid, God uses miraculously in our lives. A gift in disguise.

We would never experience God’s grace if we did not first experience our need of it.

Psalm 61:1-2:

“Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

Counting Up To Christmas—24 gifts

Did you miss last’ week’s episode? You can still catch it here. “The 12 Days of Christmas” is a favorite song my family is tormented to sing each year. It’s the same lyrics, but we all laugh hysterically each year as we struggle to sing the lyrics at the right time. Now there is a new tradition with 24 days to Christmas. 24 days to inspire you to celebrate Christmas in a special way that will leave you transformed in His presence.

Listen in as Denise and Jenni discuss her new book, “Counting Up To Christmas“, available on Amazon.
