Memorise: “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Cor 15:22)

Read: 1 Corinthians 15:45-49

After the first covenant came the second. The first was ridden with imperfection while the second was faultless. Hebrews 8:7 says, “For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second”. In other words, the defects of the first made a second covenant inevitable. Today's Bible Verse 1 Corinthians 15:22 With Explanation - Bible Verses

Any vacuum you create by your excuses, provides an excuse for your replacement. In those circumstances you find difficult to completely obey the Lord, some others still comply with the divine requirement. That excuse you are giving for not living holy, standing right or declaring Christ in that school or office, is God’s excuse to replace you. Are you giving God reasons to replace you with your better alternative?

If you are wise, you will eliminate every possible reason for your replacement by bridging the gap, blocking the holes and filling the vacuum that exists in your spiritual life.

“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Cor 15:22). God sent the first Adam in the beginning. He made sure that he had a great start – an unbeatable foundation to guarantee a great finish. But the first Adam taught everyone that having a great foundation is not enough. You can have the best foundation and still have a poor finish.

So God sent the Second Adam – Jesus Christ. You will notice that God learnt from His attempt on the First Adam and gave a better foundation to his replacement. The first was a living soul but the replacement was a quickening Spirit. The first was natural while the second was spiritual. The first was of earth, while the second was the Lord from Heaven. One lesson here is that the number two or replacement is always better than the number one (the replaced).

When God saw that the natural failed, He switched to the spiritual. If you have a problem and try natural, physical measures but they fail, you should switch over to the spiritual. God asked you not to try the arm of flesh because He had tried them and they failed Him. Also, you will notice that God’s replacements usually make it to the end. When Moses failed, Joshua replaced him and successfully took them into the promised land. This shows that if you can cooperate with God, your second attempt in any endeavour is sure to succeed.

Have you failed before in an assignment? Look up to God to assist you with the second attempt. You will succeed.

Adam killed all men, Jesus resurrected them. What would be recorded of your impact on fellow men? You can fill the gap others have created.
