Shane & Shane Launch Worship Anthem "Light of the World Medley" to Support New Feature Film

Acclaimed worship duo Shane & Shane have dedicated their professional music career to guiding worshipers to the throne of grace through their God-inspired songs. Along the way, they have released 16 albums, including their highest charting release, The One You Need, in 2011.
While writing and recording albums is certainly vital to the success of any musical artist, Shanes Barnard and Everett have dedicated their lives in recent years to encourage and equip worship leaders through an online resource they created called The Worship Initiative. This movement has grown into a thriving community and has fostered the flow of ministry and music to a new generation of worship leaders.
It is through this faithful heart of collaboration that Shane & Shane continue to record music that matters to the Kingdom of God. I recently sat down with Shane Everett to discuss the importance of creating music that captures the essence of finding a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, what drew them to write and record their first song for a movie, and what keeps them going after 27 years in the music business.
