SHINING EYES

Arise and shine. We have seen what “arise” means. What does the word ‘shine’ mean? Although it has several meanings, we shall look at two of them. First, to shine means to fulfil your purpose on earth.

God created you for a purpose. So when in Isaiah 60:1, God said arise and shine, He means you should fulfil His purpose for creating you. If God created you to become the Overseer for The RCCG in Iraq, it must come to pass. ‘Whenever we talk of going abroad, taking over nations for Jesus, some of you only zero in on North America or Britain.

Have you realised they are not as rich as they appear? There are some predominantly Muslim countries where they really have money. In fact, I understand a particular country is so rich that people just drive to the fuel station, fill their tank and go because they have so much money, and the government wanted to share some with the citizens.

One common feature among those oil – rich Muslim nations is that they have all kinds of horrible diseases. New ones, some without names are equally springing up in their midst, diseases medical science cannot cure.

To shine in this regard means when you get there, you will meet one of the Imams afflicted with a disease and ask him: ‘Do you want to live?’ He will say; ‘Yes’. Then you will say, ‘I’m going to pray for you and in the next two minutes you will be well. Before I do that, just kneel down and say Jesus is Lord.’

For you to fulfil your potential, shine means eyes begin to see. God created your eyes to see. In the physical sense, God wants your eyes to fulfil their potential, hence He restored the sight of blind Bartimaeus (Mark 10:36-52). Beyond the physical, God wants your spiritual eyes to see, “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law” (Psalm 119:18).

It takes spiritual sight to see beyond the letters of the Bible. With spiritual sight, you will receive unlimited messages and revelations from any verse you pick. With spiritual sight, you will see both good and bad forces in the realm of the spirit and how their operations affect you, so that you can take necessary action.

With spiritual sight, you can see your place of destiny and be encouraged to fight on until you get there. Without it,. you may not get to your promised land. Ask God today for spiritual sight.
