Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies’ sake.
- David prayed a strange prayer in Psalm 31 vs 16 that the face of God should shine on him.
- David knew God has a shining face and the shining face was not caused by make-up.
- He knew the shining face of God was caused by His glory.
- The shining face of God carries favour, mercy, goodness, and grace.
- Perhaps, the most important prayer you should pray every day is that the face of God should shine on you.
- When the face of God shines on you, you are settled for the day in Jesus’ name.
