One Hour With God August 1, 2011 –January 31, 2012

 Month 1 Week 5, Day 29

Read the announcement here:

Section A: Praise and worship (12am-12.20 -1am)

Sing songs of praise and hymns to the Lord.

Section B: Bible study (12.20am-12.40am)

Psalm 29

Who is the Holy Spirit? What are His works? The Holy Spirit is not a force or mere power, but one of the persons in the divine trinity. In the beginning He was with God to recreate the earth. Genesis 1:1-2:  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

  1. The Holy Spirit is the Helper, Comforter, and teacher of the brethren here on earth. Christianity is a living faith, and we are not serving a lifeless god. The Holy Spirit is here with us to speak to us, and teach us things we do not know or understand.
  2. The Holy Spirit is the agent and executor of God’s power and the Lordship of Jesus  in heaven and on earth. We can only overcome Satan through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. All saints have power to tread on serpents and scorpions, but this power is transferred unto believers through the Holy Spirit.
  3. The Holy Sprit is the wonderful counselor. Psalm 32:8:  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;  I will counsel you and watch over you.

He is always there to guide us and direst us to our miracles. We must cultivate the habit of seeking the counsel of the Holy Spirit before taking any step or decision, He knows the minutest details.

Section C: (12.40-1am)

Prayers:

1.      Double portion of the spirit of Elijah, fall upon me in Jesus name

2.      Anointing to kill my Goliaths, possess me now.

3.      Spirit that created light out of darkness, overshadow me now.

4.   Holy Spirit Baptize me now in Jesus name.
