Unanswered prayers? Has God forgotten me?

Unanswered prayers? Has God forgotten me?

NOT WASTED

Memorise: “My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness” (Psalm 109:24)

Read: Luke 1:1-14

Another lesson from the release of the Spirit on Moses upon 70 elders recorded in Numbers 11:24-29 is that there is no distance in the spirit realm. Wherever you are, your blessings can locate you as long as all other factors are constant. The packages meant for Eldad and Medad located them where they were.

In the name of Jesus, all your blessings will locate you wherever you are this year. Your spiritual location is more important than your physical location. As long as you are located in a house called obedience, within the compound called God’s will, every blessing that is yours and even some extras, will surely locate you.

We also learn that if you have already paid the price for a particular blessing, when the time of its release comes, and you are still standing in faith, it will not pass you by. Sometimes, you would have forgotten past prayers made, but you are amazed when you receive the blessings.

In most cases, it is not the very day a prayer is made, a tithe is paid, a seed of faith is sown, a restitution is made, a soul is won to Christ, a period of fasting is observed, etc. that the blessing immediately follows. Some believers are harvesting today what they sowed some 5, 10, 20, or more years ago.

The prayer that may rescue you today may not necessarily be the one said today, but what you have stored in your prayer container in Heaven. The rule for every believer is that as long as you remain in faith, nothing is lost. Keep on praying. What you need today will be used up while the extras will be reserved for tomorrow. This is why you can never over pray, over give or over worship God.

In Luke 1:13, when the angel appeared to Priest Zacharias in the holy of holies, he told him to fear not because his ‘prayer is heard’. The Greek usage of the word is ‘was heard’. This meant that the request for the fruit of the womb made several years ago, was heard. It also implied that they stopped asking, after losing hope for the manifestation of their request.

The beautiful thing about it is that even when they forgot, Heaven did not forget. Their request was approved but Heaven was waiting to give them the greatest of Old Testament prophets. Since there was a divine timing attached, the baby could not come until six months before Jesus was born.

Have you asked and forgotten? God has the record of your requests. He does not forget. Remain in His location and will. Your answers will reach you.

Load your prayer container full daily.
