Valiance
The month of November is Men’s Health Awareness Health month and the thought that came into my mind when trying to come up with a theme to encapsulate the wonderful make guests we had on the podcast this month and the word was ‘valiant‘.
Valiance is synonymous with fortitude, courage, bravery and heroism. The meaning refers to being exceptional courage especially in the face of battle.
The Bible refers to ‘men of valour‘ and honestly as soldiers of Christ we are called to be valiant in the face of the battle of life. It never stops until we meet with Christ in eternity. So steady your hands, your minds and stance dear soldier of Christ.
Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. – Psalm 144:1 (NIV)
No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. – 2 Timothy 2:4 (NIV)
We have been promised that if our Lord and savior encounters battles we surely will as well. But we take heart because He has overcome the world. Therefore, we walk from a place of victory.
The amazing guests we have on the podcast this month are sharing their wealth of knowledge and insight for young and old. We are here to support our husbands, sons, fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles, male cousins, male friends and male colleagues. This month is for them.
The Men of Valour referenced in the Bible are said to be “men characterized by their unwavering faith in God, their commitment to righteousness, and their ability to inspire and lead others in times of adversity.”
In the same realm, those trusting and believing for those 11th hour miracles, I believe our heavenly Father is very intentional and He desires to give us all that pertains to fullness of life and godliness in Him.
The word of God to us:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go"
Joshua 1:9
So take heart, our God is for us and He is with us.
November shall end strong and victorious for us all! We shall be valiant and do valiant things for the Kingdom.
