Zephaniah 1 verse 18

18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

What Does Zephaniah 1:18 Mean?

  1. God is a jealous God
  2. The jealousy of God burns like a fire
  3. God express is jealousy in anger
  4. The fire of His jealousy burns against idolaters.
  5. The fire of His jealousy burns against those who refuse to give Him glory
  6. The jealousy of God consumes

  9. The fire of His jealousy burns against all the other gods, idols, and lords
  10. The fire of His jealousy burns against those who call on other gods
  11. The fire of His jealousy brings wrath
  12. May you not experience the jealousy of the Lord
