When God ‘seems’ silent.

Good day beautiful people,

I pray that this post meets you well? Today I want to remind us all that God will never forsake His children. Be encouraged and be of good cheer for The Lord is near.

Joshua 1:9 ~ “This is my command be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

This will be a very short post but I hope that the scripture passages (God’s Word) will pierce deep within your heart shattering the lies of the devil. Apologies for the inconsistencies with regards to weekly posting life has been extremely busy for me lately, I’d greatly appreciate your prayers and patience ☺️.

Living the Christian life is not easy and humanly speaking is impossible which is why we need the Holy Spirit! One thing I’ve realised over the years is the importance of learning how to wait well! In life you will encounter a period where you HAVE to wait. For some the prolonged waiting season can lead to feelings of discouragement and some end up giving up altogether. But the Bible tells us men ought to pray without losing heart (Luke 18:1).

Many people of faith (Hebrews 11) who walked the earth before us have had to wait…

⁃ Abraham waited for 25 years before Isaac the promised child was born.

⁃ Moses waited for 40 years before he was ready to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

⁃ Jesus waited 30 years before starting His earthly ministry.

What we must remember is that God always answers. We may not like the answer we receive or when the answer comes, but we must hold onto the truth that God’s plans for us are good and not evil! He has seen the end from the beginning so we can trust His judgment.

Psalm 73:24 ~ “You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.”

Looking at the life of Job we can see that for 37 chapters God did not answer any of Job’s questions until the 38th chapter! For Job that may have seemed like a lifetime of silence, but we know that God was very much present with Job in the midst of Job’s trials. God’s apparent ‘silence’ does not indicate that He is not present. During challenging times we must acknowledge that God is sovereign and worthy to be praised, just as Job did. We can tell from early chapters that God absolutely loved Job and was proud of Jobs devotion towards Him. Our challenges provide us with the opportunity to get closer to God and become more dependent on Him.

Job 1:8 ~ Then the LORD asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.”

Job 1:20-22 ~ “Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!” In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.”

We have to learn to be still and trust that God has our best interests at heart. He wants the absolute best for His children and will never neglect His own. It’s so easy for us to go into panic mode instead of praying. A lot of the time we just need to take time out and turn to God rather than trying to seek answers from everyone else. No one has or will ever walk the exact same path as you in life. Wait patiently on The Lord.

Psalm 27:14 ~ “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.”

I hope that you could take something away from todays write up, don’t lose heart and keep on trusting God. Never give up.

Psalm 34:4 ~ “I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears.”

Psalm 34:15 ~ “The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.”

Simply a young woman striving to encourage women of God, whilst trying to spread the gospel to a mass majority of ladies all over the world. I am an armature with regards to blogs, but with more time and by God’s grace I shall improve lol. I want every single female on earth to know how much she is loved by God (John 3:16)! Please feel free to contact me via email for encouragement, advise or prayer (I am not a qualified counsellor, or a pastor, but I believe as a young woman I will be able to relate with SOME of the things other women around the world are going through). <<< As of Feb 2019 I completed my Counselling level 3 diploma Praise God 💃🏾. I intend to help others not in my own strength, but with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Do You Feel Accepted or Rejected?

I went to bed, pulled the covers over my head, and had a big ole pity party. Once again, I had been rejected…come in second place…told I wasn’t quite what “they” were looking for. Sleeping and Waiting

Sleep is crucial to our health. It’s our body’s time to restore itself and make sure we’re ready for the day ahead! Waiting, in a way, is like the “sleep” portion of our faith. While we wait, God works. And imagine all the incredible work He’s doing!
