Globally, lots of women seem to believe that it’s more important what men have than who they are. This way of thinking has driven many women to make very poor and dangerous relationship decisions.
Some women focus on men’s titles, positions and statuses mostly.
This focus is understandable to an extent. Everyone knows that men are to provide. Part of provision means material provision. It means earning money in order to earn one’s keep to provide for themselves and those in their care.
Integrity is most important. WHO a man is, is far more important than what he provides or has materially. If he is a man of integrity, he will provide in all ways.
This goes for women too. Who women are is a lot more important than any titles or positions we are in, or what we own when it comes to material possessions.
Women must be very careful to avoid being materialistic.
So many women and girls are in danger because they prioritize wealth and material possessions above integrity in men. The Bible talks about the importance of character above wealth and possessions also.
Not everyone is a Christian, but some Bibilical principles are also common sense.
• Which is better, to have a person who lies, cheats and is violent, but has a lot of money?
• Or, is it better for a person to have good character such as being kind, honest, but this person does not have an over-abundance of material wealth?
Of course, the latter type of person is a more safe and wise type of person than the former. There is nothing wrong with money. Money is good and necessary and should be used properly.
It is important to use money to help ourselve and others. We should not prioritize money above God, others, or above having noble character. We should not love money and use people. We should love God, love people and use money.
