I am a LOVER of quality books that challenge the heart and mind.  Though not every one of these books are entirely faith-centric, their usefulness is completely God-minded.  It is always my intention and heart to learn how to better live out the things of God, and every single one of these books challenges that intention for the better!

THE GIFT OF IMPERFECTION, BY BRENE BROWN

This book is AMAZING.  I devoured its audiobook version through Audible and it validated so very much of what the Lord was already pressing onto my heart.

There is a sinister lie that God wants perfect people in His Body, and, though that is definitely the end goal, Satan tends to use this against us to point out all of our areas where we fall short.

Brene’s book is a great read to point out the importance and the science behind the value of self-love and self-acceptance in order to set the foundation for change and growth.  It is not entirely complete in its word, as the true reason we can do this is found through Christ’s work on the cross, the value that is added with her study as a researcher is invaluable.

VICTORY IN SPIRITUAL BATTLE, BY TONY EVANS

I am finishing up this book through my Audible as we speak and it is chock full of practical explanations of some pretty complex spiritual facts.

The spiritual battle we all face every day is not to be undermined or ignored, yet we tend to overlook its importance.  If we truly want to experience God’s work in our lives, we must take the spiritual battle as seriously as God does.

This book is a MUST READ for people of faith who really want to grow in their faith and mature in the Body.

DISCOVER YOUR DESTINY, BY TONY EVANS

Once you read Tony Evans’ books you will want every single book he has written!  This man has a SOLID understanding of the Word.  Every book of his is a power-packed punch of Truth and principle to guide and instruct the God-loving person.

This book comes highly recommended, and in deep need today.  So many of us are truly in the depths of an identity struggle, but God has made each person with a purpose.  This book is perfect as a walk through to discover what you are here to do.

PRESENT OVER PERFECT, BY SHAUNA NIEQUIST

In today’s fast paced culture, we all need a reminder to slow down and sink into the arms of a loving and ever-present God.  This book is great for the person who is overwhelmed and desires a more simple pace of life.

The book is a great companion to the above books (especially Brene Brown’s book), but it works great as a stand alone, too.  I highly recommend it!

NIV, BEAUTIFUL WORD COLORING BIBLE, HARDCOVER: HUNDREDS OF VERSES TO COLOR

If you have an artsy God-lover in your life, this just may be the perfect gift for them!  There is plenty of side room in the margins for note-taking, but also the fun and beautiful, pre-drawn coloring sections to add color and creativity to the Word of God.

This bible has 4 1/2 stars on Amazon, so it’s been proven as a great option for the coloring bible options!  I am confident this choice will be a blessing to the artistic God-follower.

FAITH-BASED JEWELRY

From the simple to the fun, this jewelry is a great option if your beloved enjoys a little sparkle and bling to their attire.  I’m a fan of simple, but I want to give a little variety to your options.  Enjoy.
