God's Love
God’s Love for us Never fails, endures forever- “Hope in Darkness

The beauty of Christianity is in one simple thought, God’s love never fails, it endures forever. Our problem as humans is we see what happens to the flesh and blame God for turning a blind eye. But our flesh is temporary, and ‘we’ are not this body; you are more than flesh and bone. Your body is worth no more than the common particles that make it up; however, your soul is priceless, and God will never stop fighting the spiritual battles, we cannot see, in order to keep us.

One of the biggest enemies to our soul is ourselves. But God loved us so completely, that he willingly sent his Son into the horrible world we corrupted knowing his blood would be spilled as a result of fear, jealousy, hatred, and anger. But only God knew that entering our physical world would save us in the spiritual. He knows our faults and he can see what we do and think behind closed doors; but yet he sent his Son to save us anyway. Why? How can God see salvation when he looks down and only sees darkness? Because he loves us that much and God’s love never stops.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Photographer’s Notes– Capturing ‘Hope in Darkness

This image was captured on Christmas Eve in the foothills of North Alabama. This dead tree once grew in the face of a massive cliff overlooking a small valley. I loved the imagery of this tree growing from the rock face and surrounded by the lifeless winter atmosphere. I placed my camera between it and the sun to grab this silhouette. The sun was shining brightly behind the storm clouds and revealed this concept to me. God’s love is always shining brightly, no matter how dark or dead we feel on earth. His love is still present, and he waits patiently for us to call out to him.

I am a conceptual fine arts photographer and author for Seven11. Together with my wife, Kathleen, we pull inspiration from our photography to deliver messages of Christian encouragement to help others in their walk with Jesus. In addition to our writing, we also run a Christian podcast where we put “Christ in Focus.”As a separate mission, I author a photography blog to help new photographers develop their skills, learn tips and tricks, find reliable equipment, and I provide free mentorship. My goal is to prove to new photographers and models that they can pursue their dreams in fine art while staying true to their Christian values.
