Genesis 2 vs 2
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
- The seventh day is for worship.
- Although the new testament Christianity is that every moment is the time of worship
- But, for convenience, Christians have set aside a day for worship; in most cases, it is on Sundays.
- The Bible says God sanctified it, which makes it a holy day.
- It is a day that is set apart to worship God.
- No matter how busy you are, do not let your work take away Sunday worship from you.
- Make sure you take yourself to the presence of God at least a day a week to join the congregation of saints to worship God.
- Do away with anything hindering you from worshipping God.
- Go and serve the Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen.
