John 8 vs 4-7 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. John 12 vs 47 47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

  1. There was a popular story of a woman who was caught in the very act of adultery.
  2. By all standards, the act of adultery is a sin.
  3. The people who caught the woman wanted to stone her to death, but Jesus restrained them. I Love the Bible - John 12: 47 - And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but
  4. Jesus said he that has not sinned should cast the first stone and none of her accusers could cast the stone.
  5. This shows that her accusers were wrong in accusing her.
  6. In John 8:11. Jesus said that he had not come to condemn anyone but to seek the repentance of the sinners.
  7. Anyone who condemns sinners and wants to pass physical or spiritual judgment on them is sinning.
  8. The lesson from these passages is that no one has the right to condemn and execute judgment on anybody because of a perceived sin.
