Some months ago, there was a social media war on Apostle Femi Lazarus and music ministers. It was a very popular story online where the man of God in Nigeria expressed his opinions on the conduct of music ministers in Nigeria.
We wrote a comment on this and I am reproducing this in this post. I want to read your comment on this topic.
Note: Apostle Femi Lazarus and music ministers: The Nigerian pastor had condemned the exploitative acts of music ministers in Nigeria in the name of professionalism.

Questions for music ministers in Nigeria
I think this is getting out of hands especially as regards these music ministers. They need to ask themselves very important questions. Are they still music ministers of the gospel?
With what I have read about this music minister in your post, he is definitely a business man and not a music minister.
So it means the Holy Spirit cannot ask or direct him to go an minister in a village crusade hosted by a host of churches in a village.
Are the instruments the power behind the music or the Holy Spirit.
Music ministers and professionalism taken too far
I think they are taking it too far with their professionalism. I love professionalism and excellence but when you are a minister you have to be flexible. You can’t really be useful to the Holy Spirit if you’re not flexible.
Just like the one you contacted for your program who claims his keyboard strings is bad and so he couldn’t minister. And he refused despite appealing to him to perform without his keyboard.
What about if it is the will of God for him to minister without his keyboard. What about if God wanted to use him and the songs to minister to someone that day?
Music ministers must operate with the help of the Holy Spirit of God
A true minister operates by the instructions of the Holy Spirit per time. This is the reason why true ministers are always flexible.
I am totally against elevating professionalism at the expense of the will of God and the instructions of the Holy Spirit.
Music ministers must be careful with their extreme views on their ministries. At the end I hope it’s not going to be what Jesus said to those who performed miracles in His name and Jesus said to them that He doesn’t know them. It is well.
