Psalm 44 verse 23
Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
- It will seem strange to say that God sleeps.
- But David realized that as long as God does not answer his prayer, God is still sleeping over his prayer.
- In this scripture, David questioned God and asked him ‘’why are you sleeping’’?
- You need to ask God that same question if there are other prayers he has not answered.
- David even went further and asked God to wake from his sleep because he knows that when God arises, all His enemies will be scattered.
- If it seems that God is sleeping over your request, you need to wake him up to answer your prayers instantly.
