Bible in 365 Days – Day 35

Focus Chapters:

  • Exodus 10-12

Standout Verse(s):

Exodus 11:3 NLT

Now the Lord had caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the people of Israel. And Moses was considered a very great man in the land of Egypt, respected by Pharaoh’s officials and the Egyptian people alike.

Observation (s):

  1. Despite the Egyptians’ fear of the Israelites and the Israelites position as slaves, God caused them to look favorably on the Israelites.

    Now the Lord had caused the Egyptians to look favorably on the people of Israel.

  2. Moses still had the respect of the Egyptians, from all ranks, despite the plagues and his fight for the freedom of his people.

    And Moses was considered a very great man in the land of Egypt, respected by Pharaoh’s officials and the Egyptian people alike.

Application:

When I started my first job, I met a lady who took an instant dislike for me. Over the ensuing years, I let my light shine and God do the talking. Soon, the lady’s entire attitude towards me changed. To this day, I am one of her favoured persons. When God is on your side, even your enemies (who fear and have enslaved you) will extend favour to you, if God preordains it. Moses was the hand through which God delivered judgement upon the Egyptians yet he was still respected at all levels. That’s what God’s favour looks like. It triggers favour towards you even in the sight of your enemies.

XOXO,
Chañel

I am a dynamic young lady who loves the Lord and seek to have a joy that no one can take away. My all-time favourite thing to do is gaining discoveries by design from My Father during our time each day. Reading, learning and trying new things falls behind in a close second place. My dream is to use my God-given talents to positively impact as many people as possible. As a proud Wolmerian, with a zest for life, I adhere to the “Age Quod Agis” motto in that whatsoever I do, I always do it to the best of my ability.
