Parents need to live out the faith they want to impart but parenting is so much more than a formula. When the world crowds in and steals our children’s self-worth, parents can be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and participate with God in guiding our children through the challenges of childhood to restore a healthy confidence again.
Lynn Cowell is a Proverbs 31 speaker and author of several books, written for women of all ages. Her newest books are a Bible study for women, Make Your Move: Finding Unshakeable Confidence Despite Your Fears and Failures and a devotional for tween girls, Brave Beauty: Finding the Fearless You. Lynn calls North Carolina her home, where she and her husband, Greg, and the occasional backyard deer are adjusting to life as empty nesters now that their three young adult children are on their own. The Cowells love hiking, rafting and anything combining chocolate and peanut butter.
