Daniel 3 verse 17
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
- Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were about to be consumed by a strange fire, yet they trusted God deliverance.
- The enemies and adversaries of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego prepared a strange fire to consume them, but God delivered His children.
- Those who threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the fire died from the heat of the fir, but the children of God were not affected by the fire.
- The fiery burning furnace was not able to consume the coats, the hats, and garments of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
- The lesson here is that no matter the fire of life that surrounds you, it will not consume you if your ways are right with God.
- Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were promoted after they were brought out from the fire unhurt, which means every deliverance leads to promotion.
