God's Wonderful Promises - Comfort - Pursuing Intimacy With God
God’s Wonderful Promises – Comfort
In Part 1 of God’s Wonderful Promises we studied God’s perfect faithfulness. And how God’s promises are actually guarantees because of His perfect faithfulness.
In Part 2 we studied God’s wonderful promises for the gift of eternal life. And in Part 3 we studied God’s wonderful promises for forgiveness.
Then in Part 4 of God’s Wonderful Promises we studied some of the many promises about fear. Fear can paralyze a believer’s faith and inhibit your fellowship with God. And fear can prevent you from faithfully obeying and following God’s perfect will for your life.
Now we will continue to search God’s Word and find His promises about comfort. There will be some difficult times in our life when we need God’s comfort. Time when only God can truly bring comfort and peace in our heart. And He will never fail to do this.

Isaiah 51:3 – “Indeed, the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places. And her wilderness He will make like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, Thanksgiving and sound of a melody.”
Jeremiah 31:13 – “Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old, together. For I will turn their mourning into joy and will comfort them and give them joy for their sorrow.”
Isaiah 66:13 – “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; And you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
Isaiah 57:18 – “I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;
I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners.”
