Gratitude Grows You Into Holiness - A Nighttime Prayer

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. – Ephesians 1:4 (NLT)

Please Pray:

Dear Triune God, As I settle into this night, quieting my soul for this moment I pause to breathe in your goodness and exhale my striving. Thank You for the moments today that reminded me I am loved the small joys I almost missed, the people who showed up. When I am tempted to measure my worth by what I did or didn’t do, remind me that worthiness is my birthright, it is not earned—it’s given. You have already called me holy, already called me yours. Help me rest in that truth tonight. Teach my heart to choose gratitude, even when my thoughts chase fear, especially as I lay my head on this pillow and the thoughts of the day overwhelm my peace, even when joy feels too vulnerable to hold. Quiet the voice that rehearses what could go wrong and open my eyes to what is already right. May gratitude be my lullaby tonight, softening my heart into trust, settling my mind into peace, and drawing my soul into your presence. I rest in Your steadfast love, and I whisper before sleep: “I have enough, because You are enough.” In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
