Living like a christian demands huge sacrifices, but there is no man or woman that is unable to make the sacrifice if there is a willing heart. 1 Thessalonians 5 contains rules for becoming a good christian woman or good christian man. These are summarized below:
1. Don’t take revenge- 1 Thess. 5 vs 15.
2. Do well always – 1 Thess. 5 vs 15.
3. Pray always – 1 Thess. 5 vs 17.
4. Give thanks in all situations 1 Thess. 5 vs 18
5. Speak in tongues, fast, and prophecy – 1 Thess. 5 vs 19 -20.
6. Don’t be gullible. Prove all things before you believe. 1 Thess. 5 vs 21.
7. Run from all evil and all things that look like evil 1 Thess 5 vs 22
8. Be blameless. 1 Thess 5 vs 23
9. Pray for the Saints especially God’s workers. 1 Thess 5 vs 25.0
10. Be watchful, while you sleep, keep one eye open- I Thess. 5 vs 6.
11. Be sober. Don’t be extravagant or arrogant. Do all things in love and faith. 1 Thess 5 vs 8
12. Avoid Anger and be cool tempered 1 Thess 5 vs 9.
13. Speak week of your neighbors, Edify members of the body of Christ. 1 Thess. 5 vs 11
14. Hold Pastors, Priests, and other God servants in high esteem. 1 Thess. 5 vs 12-13.
15. Avoid quarrels and fights. Be at peace with yourself and with all men. 1 Thess. 5 vs 13
16. Rebuke bad mannered people, inspire and help the weak, and be patient to all men. 1 Thess 5 vs 14.
