How To Manifest The Fruit Of The Spirit In Life? - Raising Zion

fruit of the spirit

We are saved so we can bear much fruit that the Father in heaven is glorified (John 15:8). It’s not possible to bear fruit without Jesus (John 15:4,5).

Richest and wise King Solomon discovered that sowing in God during youth is the ideal time to be spiritually nourished. Yet we find most youth waste their time running after the things of this earth.

Jesus is the word of God.
Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit.
This is the only pattern – Word follows the Spirit.

When we live obeying the word of God, the Spirit of God bears fruit in our lives. One of the many fruits is the fruit of the Spirit.

What are the qualities in the fruit of the Spirit?

1. Love (1 Corinthians 13:1-8)
2. joy, (Psalms 51)
3. peace, (John 14:27)
4. longsuffering, (James 5:11)
5. gentleness, (Psalms 18:35)
6. goodness, (Psalms 34:8)
7. faith, (Hebrews 11)
8. meekness, (Matthew 11:29) (Psalms 25:9)
9. temperance (Luke 9:51-55)

The Holy Spirit powers godly natures in us, including the fruit of the Spirit

When we seek the Holy Spirit and God’s righteousness daily, we experience heaven flow in and through us. Till we don’t, our lives will remain a huge struggle. Backslidden, full of carnal natures, living sinfully even after knowing God.

What goes into your heart is important, not what goes into the belly (Mark 7:19). When we feed our minds and heart with the things of the world then we manifest the fruit of what is sown in us. Without a transformation through the word and the spirit we will end up manifesting carnal natures – evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness (Mark 7:21,22).

In the middle of great persecution, Stephen displayed extraordinary character of faith and love. He forgave all those who stoned him to death, as he died.

The time is near, bear fruit for God now. Maranatha, praise God and amen!
