1 Thessalonians 4 vs 11-12

11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

1 Thessalonians 4:11 - Bible Verse Design — Scripture Type

  1. In this verse, Paul the Apostle tells us to have a source of income so that we can feed ourselves and be a blessing unto others.
  2. Do not be idle. Otherwise, poverty will overcome you.
  3. You cannot use prayer to cover poverty.
  4. There is a place for prayer, and there is a place for hard work.
  5. A lot of people are idle and lazy.
  6. One of the causes of poverty is idleness and laziness.
  7. Some people don’t want to work and want to be rich.
  8. Don’t use prayer or service to God to cover your idleness and laziness.
  9. For you to overcome poverty, you need to work and pray.
  10. Receive the spirit of hard work in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
