Genesis 27 vs 13

And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.

1. Adam obeyed the voice of Eve and lost fellowship with God.
2. Eve obeyed the voice of the serpent and led that family astray.
3. Abraham obeyed the voice of Sarah to sleep with her maidservant.
4. Jacob obeyed the voice of Rebekah and deceived his father.
5. He eventually became a fugitive for twenty-one years, did not witness her mother’s burial, and was cheated by his master (Leban) thrice.

• I am an obedient child in Jesus’ name.
