If He Hates Himself, He Can’t Love You.

This is an important message. Some women use our nurturing instincts to try to fix and heal men who have not allowed Jesus to heal them. These types of men can be very dangerous. Ladies, if a man does not love himself, he simply cannot and will not love you. This is important to understand.

Show me a man that mistreats women and is hateful toward women. You have shown me a man who hates himself. It is the truth. I have learned this over time through observation and discernment.

The two great commandments in the Bible are to love God with all of our hearts, souls, minds and strength; and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. How can anyone love God and receive God’s love, yet hate themselves?

The person who does not love and obey God cannot obey the second great commandment either: to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. It is understood and assumed that people love themselves.

When and if people don’t even love themselves, they cannot love others. A man who hates himself cannot love his wife, even as he loves himself. He likely will hate his wife, even as he hates himself. He may hate her even more than he hates himself.

A man who hates himself cannot love his wife as Christ loved the church, obviously. So ladies, my point is, be very careful and prayerful if you pray. Sisters in Christ, I know you do pray. For all ladies, be very careful. Our feminine instinct is to try to nurture.

Yet, you or I cannot heal someone that has not allowed Jesus to heal them. We will not be loved by someone who does not love themselves. A man with broken relationship with God isn’t able to properly receive love from God.

Therefore, he will have a hard time loving himself and cannot properly love others. He cannot give away something he has not received. One who does not know the love of God and has not received the love of God has no love to give away.

There is hope and healing for both men and women. It is important to forgive those who have wronged and hurt us. Our hope is in Christ. God is love. The same goes for women who do not love themselves: they cannot love men properly. Please remember this and take care of yourselves.

Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.

A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” Matthew 22: 36-40. NLT

For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. Ephesians 5: 25-26. NLT

So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. John 13: 34. NLT

Angels are an intrinsic and dynamic part of the Christmas story. Christmas simply would not have occurred without these God-sent messengers from heaven. The Mall or the Manger?

Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
