Is God Still Blessing America? — SAMUELDEUTH.COM

America’s blessing is only because it’s foundation was built on a desire to worship God. America was formed as One Nation Under God. And not just any god, but the one true God. And, the blessing of the Lord, isn’t reserved for the USA, it’s available to every Nation that acknowledges Jesus as Lord!

But, with that in mind, as a Follower of Jesus, who loves this nation, I have to sound a very real alarm, kind of like prophets in the Bible who were sent to warn a nation to repent and turn from evil or destruction of that nation is eminent:

Two of the main and primary sins of America that we must repent and reverse are the endorsement and funding of abortion, the genocide of the unborn and innocent of our nation. And the other is the embracing sexual perversions that are leading to a wide range of pain and abuse of individuals, families and often the young and most vulnerable.

However the good news is that God is raising up the Church to preach the Gospel and call people back to the truth of God’s Word. The only hope for this nation and every nation is to come back Under God and worship Him!

“But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance.” Psalms 33:11-12 NIV

I love Romans 8:28. Now, let me be honest…sometimes I don’t. When I am going through a dark time of loss or disappointment, and someone throws a sloppy coat of Romans 8:28 on my open wound, I just want to scream. There. I said it. Paul wrote: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, Read more...

What does it mean to have childlike faith?

What do you think of when you hear the word “childlike?”For many of us, “childlike” might bring to mind something immature, foolish, or naive. Yet when Jesus talked about childlike faith, he wasn’t asking us to be any of these things. He was inviting us into something pure, trusting, and real. This week, I got to help lead worship at a kids' camp. Watching the kids worship was such a beautiful reminder of what childlike faith truly looks like. These kids worshiped, prayed, and talked about God.
