Laying on of Hands… In Scripture, the laying on of hands is a sacred act of passing on blessing, healing, authority, and life—we call that impartation.
With his right hand, Isaac blessed Jacob. With his right hand, Jacob blessed Joseph’s younger son rather than the oldest. Moses passed God’s authority, power, and leadership to Joshua. Jesus laid His hands on the children and blessed them.
The apostles imparted the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands. Each touch transferred something real—God’s favor, power, blessing, authority, and Spirit.
When believers lay hands in Jesus’ name, they release His Spirit, Word, and will to heal, bless, and accomplish in others what God desires to be done for all. Ask to be blessed. God’s desire is for all to prosper and be in good health.
