Mental Health

You need to spend as much time on your mental health as you do your physical health.

Okay, you aren’t doing too well on the physical health stuff either.

But you need to be aware of what’s going on in your head.

You need to take care of your feelings, your emotions and your mental well-being.

  1. Give yourself mental breaks throughout your day.
  2. Practice calming exercises to decrease anxiety and worry.
  3. Tune out from the media world a little each day.
  4. Do something for yourself. reward yourself.
  5. Think positively about your life and situation.
  6. Talk to your close friends and family. Make connections.
  7. Seek out professional help.

Your mental health is just as important as your overall health. take care of yourself, mentally, physically, and spiritually.

    The Mall or the Manger?

Much has changed since the God of the universe decorated the night sky with the star of Bethlehem and directed the choir of angels in a chorus announcing the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. But the commercialism doesn’t have to rule in our hearts and homes. This year let’s focus on the Christ Child and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. As we turn our eyes to the Babe in the manger, we will not view Christmas as a dreaded obligation or a major retail event. It will be a time of joyous celebration, honoring the One Who came to give us eternal life and worshipping our Heavenly Father.
