New Adventure for DM - Divorce Minister

18 “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

-Isaiah 43:18-19, KJV

This is particularly true about my professional life. I have recently taken a job with the federal government as a chaplain.

This job requires I go to three weeks of training and testing. I leave tomorrow for this required part of my employment.

It is an exciting experience. But I share this to warn you all:

God has supernaturally provided an incredible job in my field. You see, God is more powerful than the natural. His hands are all over this opportunity, and I am excited to see what adventure He has for me at this job.

For those struggling in the darkness of adultery discovery and divorce, I want to testify to God’s goodness and faithfulness to me in this. I did not even know this job existed when my first wife cheated on me!

Yet God did. And He has prepared me to do the work.

16 “Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me,” saith the Lord.

-Isaiah 54:16-17, KJV

Don’t ever give up hope in God. He is worth your trust. To this, my life is a living testimony.
