On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place.

Holy Spirit played an important role in my recovery story. His gifts saw me through a very, very dark time.

I had just discovered the Other Man who was later confirmed to be party to a physical affair with my (now) ex-wife. It was a very difficult time for me. I was devastated.

One evening, I went to a gathering of young adults who moved in the Spirit. A friend who did not know my situation spoke two prophetic words over me that night.

One of the prophetic words my friend shared was about how my path had been obliterated before me up to that point. There had been no way forward. Then he talked about how God was ordering things now.

Those words along with the other prophetic words strengthened me to get through the next couple of critical weeks including a move across the country.

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

I am SO grateful for Holy Spirit’s presence and ministry in my life. His presence preserved my life and set me on my current path. I will forever be grateful to God for that!
