Political Strategist Bunni Pounds on Faith, Prayer, and 'Jesus and Politics'
Bunni Pounds has spent the better part of two decades in what some call the “wilderness of American Politics.” Spending many years as a political consultant and actively helping members of Congress run their campaigns, Pounds lost her own bid to be a member of the United States House of Representative in 2018, dropping the seat in a Texas run-off ballot.
One common thread that has always fueled Pounds in her political pursuits is her unwavering belief in Jesus Christ. So much so that she is the founder and president of Christians Engaged, a non-profit organization designed to educate and empower Christians to pray, vote, and actively take part in the political process.
In her debut book, Jesus and Politics, the Texas native seeks to help people understand that God wants to use Christians to change the world.
