If you have the Holy Spirit, you have the presence of God.
If you do not have the Holy Spirit, it also means the presence of God is not with you.
So, the Holy Spirit signifies that God is with you.
Jesus has to be anointed by the Holy Spirit before the Bible can say God is with Him.
