Sermon: Living in righteousness

Sermon: Living in righteousness

Posted on April 13, 2012 Updated on April 12, 2012

Genesis 35 vs. 2 Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

What does it mean to change your garments?

  1. If your dressing has been exposing your privacy, you need to change your garments.
  2. If you have been murmuring and complaining against God because of unanswered prayers, you need to change your garments and start thanking God in faith for answered prayers.
  3. If you have been a bench warmer in church, you need to become a useful vessel of honour unto God.
  4. If you have been robbing God through unfaithfulness in tithes and offerings, you need to change your garments.

Prayers

–          Garments of shame, reproach and disgrace in my life, roast by fire in Jesus name.

–          Garments of sin on me, roast by fire in Jesus name.

–          Garments of bareness, roast by fire in Jesus name.
