Sunday Stillness – Psalm 112:7

Oh I was so excited to see this little bird hidden under the trees on our lake. I poked my head down quickly, zoomed in and took the shot – surprise – caught him.
We have many birds that go to this spot – ducks, cranes, and cormorants. Then this little guy – I tried to look him up on the Internet. I can’t find out what kind he is. Does anyone know?
We know from God’s Word that He looks after the birds. They don’t fret about the next meal, or even what their children are doing. Neither should we. As God’s children we are to look after our offspring as much as possible, then trust God to watch over them.
He cares for us – a whole bunch. Do you trust in Him?
Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds (Luke 12:24, NIV)!
