'The Abigail Mysteries' Movie a Matter of Faith Overcoming Foul Play

For faith-based audiences who love to see a good whodunit (is that a word?) mystery movie, you have been sort of hard-pressed over the years to find one that keeps you on the edge of your seat while honoring your values and beliefs.

Well, the wait is finally over. Releasing on the PureFlix streaming platform this week, The Abigail Mysteries offers viewers the chance to immerse themselves in a mystery that only a truly engaged sleuth can figure out.

The movie stars Ansley Gordon (The Boyfriend Trap, The Singles Guidebook), who also wrote the screenplay, as Abby Broukes, a true-crime podcaster experiencing a crisis of faith. When her beloved but eccentric neighbor (Karen Abercrombie) turns up dead, Abby immediately suspects foul play. Setting her investigative instincts in motion, Abby follows a series of Scripture-based clues that not only lead her to solving the mystery but also guide her back to her faith in the process.

Directed by Brittany Goodwin, the movie also stars Abercrombie (War Room, Eleanor’s Bench), Bret Green (The Inspectors), and Chris Lindsay (The Advocate).
