1 Samuel 16 vs 1-2

And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the Lord said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the Lord.

  1. God instructed Prophet Samuel to go to Bethlehem and anoint David as a King while Saul was still reigning as the king.
  2. But Samuel was afraid, and He said Saul would kill him.
  3. So, God told Samuel that when he arrived at Bethlehem, he should tell the people he had come to make sacrifices to the Lord.

  5. You need to be a smart staff in the office and know the right answer to problems.
  6. It is not all your strategies and moves should be made known to everyone.
  7. In summary, people should not be able to predict you in order not to ambush you.

  • Holy Spirit, make me a smart Christian
