The law of sowing and reaping

Although the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ were inseparable partners, the former consented to sow the latter in death because He looked forward to working with millions and billons of little Christs. Are you making a positive impact in God’s Kingdom? If yes, praise God.

How would it be if every member of your parish were as committed, dedicated, obedient, loving, and Christ-like as you? That church would fly in a short time! Jesus reproduced Himself in the lives of His disciples. If God has invested something in your life, and is using you for His glory, it is because He wants you to reproduce all your good qualities in the lives of others.

A leader who cannot reproduce the good part of himself in the lives of those he is leading, has not only failed, but has also become a dead end. Beloved, since you came to Christ several years ago, you have continued to be on the receiving end: When will you be ripe enough to give to others?

Jesus also had His perspective on why He laid down His life for the human race. He died to multiply Himself. This tallies with the views of God the Father and the Holy Spirit. John 12:24 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit”. As long as He lived, He remained just one. His potentials were expressed but the greater possibilities from His death could never have been realized.

If you want to bear much fruit and attain your highest potential in Christ or in the Kingdom of God, you have to die. You have to die to self, the flesh, your desires and the devil. You have to be so dead that nothing of this world attracts you anymore. It is then and only then you are set to release the hidden potentials inside of you. 1 John 3:8 says Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. Satanic works can be traced to the Garden of Eden. But beyond that, it can be traced to the time Satan rebelled against God and wanted to be equal with Him.

Jesus defeated him and got a name above all names. He earned that name through hard work and by working with the Holy Spirit. If you work with Him and the Holy Spirit, your name will also become one dreaded by the kingdom of darkness like Paul. Are you ready to pay the price?
