Matthew 5 vs 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.

The Bible says there is a blessing in being poor in the spirit, and the reward is heavenly inheritance.
So, who are the poor in spirit? The poor in spirit are those who go through spiritual sacrifices like fasting and praying to be spirit-filled.
The poor in spirit are those who crave to satisfy things of the spirit, like love for neighbours and giving to the poor, needy, strangers and widows.
The poor in spirit are those who feast on the word of God to build their spirit.
If you forsake the riches of this world for the desires of the spirit, you are poor in spirit.
