Update On Our Israel Tour! - Enjoying the Journey
The nation of Israel has been front and center in news broadcasts over the last few months. It has also been at the heart of endless conversations about prophecy being fulfilled. Personally, I can testify that the experience of studying the Word of God in the land of the Bible is transformative. The theological, historical, prophetical, and devotional all intersect in that part of the world known as “the holy land.”
A great group of people have already signed up to travel with us to Israel later this year. We have said little about it because we were waiting to be sure the trip was possible. I am happy to share that we have received a good report from the Land of the Bible tour company that our trip will go as scheduled. The Enjoying the Journey Israel tour will take place December 3-13, 2024.
The safety and security of those who visit is paramount, and we are grateful that the areas we will be visiting have returned to normal. A couple of adjustments to our itinerary have been made for this reason. (You may view our original itinerary here.) Our group will not be crossing into Jordan or into any Palestinian-controlled areas, such as Bethlehem or the northern territories. We are happy to take our family and friends to Israel and want those who travel with us to feel comfortable in the places we will visit.
There are still a few open spots on the tour and it would be a joy to have you join us. The initial deposit of $250, for those who sign up now, is due Friday, May 3. The second payment of $1,000 is due on June 6, and the final payment of the balance is due on September 30. The total cost of $4099 per person includes round trip airfare out of a portal city, beautiful accommodations, two buffet meals a day, coach bus transportation, admission to all sites, and daily guided tours/studies.
