Vote Today! But Don’t Forget Where Our Ultimate Hope Lies.

I am calling on every Christian and patriotic American to vote today! We should not neglect this privilege and responsibility of ours. I believe God wants our voices to be heard in this very important election.

     Handle Political Uncertainty

The Bible says “to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin” (James 4:17 NKJV).

Vote for policy not personality. We don’t need a perfect person to lead us. But we do need the person whose policies most closely reflect the values of Scripture.

And remember, our ultimate solution is not a political one, but a spiritual one. It’s God. It’s our nation experiencing another great spiritual awakening. But the church must first experience revival.

    Our Part in America’s Healing

Revival is a return to original condition. C. H. Spurgeon defined it as “to live again, to receive again a life which has almost expired; to rekindle into a flame the vital spark which was nearly extinguished.” Revival is only for the believer. And God has promised to send it if we do the following, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT).

If we want to see America return to God, He says it starts with His people. When there is moral and spiritual decline in a nation, He points His finger at the church.

The apostle Peter said judgment begins with the house of God (see 1 Peter 4:17).

When is the last time you read your Bible, prayed to God, or shared the gospel with someone? Do revival-like things and you will see it in your life.

    Leave Today’s Results to God

Let us also pray and leave the election results to God. Scripture reminds us that “The Most High rules in the kingdom of men [and] [g]ives it to whomever He will” (Daniel 4:17 NKJV).

Let me also add that whomever wins this presidential election will have my prayers. And they should have yours too because we are told in Scripture to do so. As they set the course for our nation’s future, the next president will need our prayerful support for God’s wisdom and direction.

I hope we will all be voting biblically, praying earnestly, and keeping these truths in mind.

        Who are You Becoming?

Every decision we make shapes who we are and who we’re becoming. The new year is a perfect time to take inventory of our choices and habits. Some questions to ask yourself could be: How did I spend my time last year? How did I use my money? What kind of content did I consume—what did I read, watch, or listen to? Maybe you thought you were actively pursuing Jesus this past year, but when you reflect on these questions, you realize you lost sight of him in the busyness and messiness of life.If thi

The Emotional Toll of Abortions on Fathers - Today Can Be Different

We often focus on those who have been victims of abortion – innocent babies, of course, and their mothers. But we rarely hear about how this tragedy affects dads. These “forgotten fathers” often bottle up their emotions, including grief, depression, anger and guilt – all of which can escalate to self-destructive behavior if they don’t seek counseling.
