11 Samuel 1 vs. 26 – When the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.
- Jonathan was the son of King Saul. King Saul hated David, but Jonathan love David.
- Jonathan and David made a covenant to help Jonathan.
- In this passage, David moured for Jonathan after his death and described his love as passing the love of a woman.
- Gays and homosexuals refer to this passage to argue that Jonathan and David are homosexuals, and that the Bible supports homosexuality.
- There is nothing in the Bibe that shows that David and Jonathan were homosexuals. This is just a figment of imagination of those who want to use the Bible to justify homosexuality.
