We’re Moving to Arizona

On June 22, my family and I will be making the trek to San Tan Valley, AZ, which is southeast of Phoenix, where we will be moving. During the past several months, God has been opening the doors and positioning us for the move to Arizona, so here we go.

We’ll move Blazing Grace’s head office somewhere near San Tan by mid-July, perhaps around Mesa or Queen Creek. In addition to being able to offer counseling, groups, retreats, and conferences in Arizona, I’ll now be a five hour drive from Southern California and Las Vegas, where we’re hoping God will open more doors for effective ministry.

    In addition:

Sandy England will continue to maintain our presence here in Colorado Springs and offer support for wives, counseling, and groups.

Tim Peterson, who leads our men’s groups and offers counseling, will continue to do so from Arkansas.

Carmen, who leads our wives prayer group from New York, will continue to serve in her role.

We will continue to hold our men’s, wives, and couples retreats in Beulah, Colorado. We’re also going to look at adding winter retreats in Arizona. Our next retreat is the couples retreat, which will be held August 6-9 in Beulah.

So we’re expanding our reach a bit in the US.

I’d love to meet those of you who live in Arizona who we’ve been in contact with over the years. Let us know if you’d like to get together if you’re in California, Nevada, and Arizona… or any state or country… and would like to discuss setting up a conference or event.

There is more news and changes to come in the next few months.

        Sometimes Healing Takes Time

I like instant. I like brewed coffee in a minute or less. I like microwaved leftovers in 45 seconds or less. I like instant text, instant on-line shopping, and instant movies at the click of a button. I’m not a fan of process but would rather have immediate results. One of my favorite words in the New Testament is “immediately.” “Immediately they received their sight” (Matthew 20:34). Read more...
