So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
- Gain is the profit you derived from offering a service.
- In every industry, there are always standards and acceptable measure of goods.
- But when your gain become excessive and indefensible it becomes greedy gain.
- So, if you change the measurement for a goods or service rendered, it is a greedy gain.
- If you collect income for a service not rendered, you are guilty of greedy gain.
- If you also employ staff and you underpay them or refuse to pay them their entitlement, you are guilty of greedy gain.
- The Bible says gain gotten through manipulation leads to premature death.
- Ill-gotten treasures are properties of Satan and makes you defenseless to satanic attack.
- So, if you have Satan’s property in your possession you will be open to evil attacks like sickness, accident, night oppression which may take your life.
- I always tell members of my household that by the grace of God, I can account for every income I made.
- For instance, when I was building my house, it was uncompleted for several years, when I had the opportunity of making money for myself illegally from some works I was doing. For me, it was better to stay in an uncompleted house with peace and joy than to be in a completed house which foundation is from stolen money.
