2. Divided Reactions: Perspectives from the Church and the Public
The bold post drew polarized reactions from all sectors of society.
The Christian Community: * Critical View: Many theologians, across both conservative and progressive lines, expressed deep concern over "blasphemous" elements. They argued that placing a human political leader on the same level as the Divine poses a clear risk of idolatry.
