I'm Speaking at FishFest and in L.A. this Week
This Thursday, I will be at our Orange County Bible study speaking on the topic of “The Biblical Worldview on Singleness, Marriage, and Divorce.”
Why speak on divorce?
Because Jesus dealt with it and we want to take every precaution to avoid it. I wish we could strike the very word from our vocabulary!
Listen—wedlock should be a padlock. And yet, there are times when a marriage cannot survive and the Bible makes allowances for this. That is why we need to take our time when it comes to finding the right person to marry.
And yes, if you are single, I believe God has someone hand-picked just for you! You may know them already; you may not know them yet. You can even start praying for them. But time has a great way of revealing who a person really is.

FishFest
This Saturday, I have been asked to speak at FishFest in Irvine, CA. This is a huge annual music festival, event sponsored by KFSH-FM, an outstanding Contemporary Christian music station in Orange County.
They will have music from tobyMac, Jeremy Camp, and many others. I will be speaking around 7:00P.M., if you’d like to be there. For more information, click here.
A new church is born in L.A.!
Steve Wilburn, who is an Associate Pastor at our Church in Riverside, is launching a new church plant in Los Angeles this coming Sunday. While there are many fine churches in this area, I am certain there is room for another—especially one with Steve as its pastor.
It is going to be called Core Church. Steve is a passionate and effective evangelist, as well as a faithful teacher of God’s Word. He will be a blessing to all who attend. To show my support, I will speak this coming Sunday at the first service. Click here for more information on Core Church.
