Shabby Chic Disney Baby Shower
Time for a DIY!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted one, so here’s one of a baby girl shower my daughter and I did recently.
My daughter is the visionary of our team, and she came up with the idea of scavenging items from a local consignment store to find items that would represent each of six princesses. I had a few things to add from around the house, and with a just a few items we created a separate table for each of these six princesses:
Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White.
We found these awesome items at a local consignment store, and I painted all of the objects white to create a soft, simple, uniform look.
Each table had color that also represented each princess’ gown, along with Pinterest inspired balloons that were filled with helium and heart-punched shapes of tissue paper in a coordinating color!
The paper bags filled with Hershey’s kisses and photo albums for the new mom were stamped with,
The idea for the banner came from Pinterest:
Each table had a list for guests to guess which princess was represented on each table.
Our sweet little mama was then able to take home whatever she wanted from the tables to decorate her baby girl’s waiting nursery!
I used left over fabric from the banner to make the onesie… and the stamp we found at Hobby Lobby made it extra special.
We had loads of fun, and made a few memories along the way… after all, isn’t that what it’s all about?! :0)
Can’t wait to meet you, Emersyn!
